Located at the Mayo Clinic's Jacksonville, Florida campus, the Cannaday Building houses its Family Medicine and Community Internal Medicine practices, as well as educational facilities and a retail link. The building design consists of three formal components: an orthogonal clinic block, a curvilinear circulation element, and a public space element. The orthogonal clinic block better accommodates the rigid technical requirements of repeating exam room modules, while the curvilinear circulation and public space elements respond to the site, providing sweeping views across the manicured landscape and maximizing opportunities for natural light and enhances wayfinding.
